1. Literature Circles due May 4th

• White Mountains: Read chapter 5.
• Shadow Unicorn: Finish 6 Square, New Words, and Passage. Be ready to share on May 4th.
• Thief Lord: Read chapter 5 & 6, do Character Sketch, and Passage
• Big Wave: Read pages 17-23, do 6 Square, New Words, and Passage.

April 20-Homework

1. Literature Circles: All groups must complete their setting map. It must be coloured. Do not copy the map in the book.
2. Literature Circles: The Thief Lord and White Mountains groups must read chapter 4 and complete the 6 square, new words, and passage or phrase sheets. Be ready to share on Tuesday.
3. French: Finish the script for the fashion show.  Presentations begin on Tuesday. We will also have presentations on Wednesday. Bring all the clothes you need to present. 

April 11 Homework

1. Reading: Complete literate circle pages (6 square, new words, and passage). Be ready to share your passage and opinions, questions, predictions, feelings, and connections with your group.
2. French: Work on your script for the fashion show. You need to be ready to present on April 19. Bring your clothes so you can practice your presentations on Wednesday April 13th.
3. Science: Be ready to present your oral presentation tomorrow. Make sure all your materials are here as of Tuesday April 12.

April 6 Homework

1. Science Project: The written and oral portion of your science project is due Monday April 11. Be prepared to present. Names will be drawn to determine who is presenting. You will not know in advance when you are presenting so you must be ready.
2. Complete drawing and colouring your Literature Circle title page. Due Monday April 11.
3. Bring in food item(s) for Friday's lunch. Due Friday April 8,

Class Lunch Arpil 8th

Every student will be involved in our class lunch. Students have brought home a list of the ingredients they need to bring, please bring the items by Thursday. If it is not possible to bring these items please let Mrs. Black or Mrs. Hass know as soon as possible. We will be preparing and sharing our lunch on Friday.

The art project has been started. Students will have lots of time at school to work on it. They may also work on it at home if they wish. They need to bring their plan and their materials by Thursday. No due date has been set.
